BUKH High-speed craft engines 175–530 hp
9 models in the R, S and V8P series, 128.7–389.7 kW (175–530 hp), for fast rescue boats and high-speed craft.
Applications: Fast rescue boats (FRB), rescue boats, military and government fast craft, workboats, multi-purpose boats and pleasure boats; the V8P can also be used in lifeboats. For fast rescue boats and special-operations craft carried on coast guard vessels, applicable rules are confirmed for each boat.

Multiple operating modes
The V8P is based on the Duramax 6.6 L V8 and marinized by BUKH in Denmark, with Combat mode, a dual-mode ECU and custom ECU software available as options.
Shaft drive or waterjet
The R/S series can be paired with shaft drive or waterjet propulsion; according to the manufacturer, BUKH and Alamarin-Jet (also distributed by Hallmark Marine) are partners.
-30°C cold-start test
The R210 and S270 have DNV-witnessed -30°C cold-start test records.
Hybrid versions
The R175J, R210J, S270J and V8P are available in hybrid versions with a 25 kW @ 96V electric motor.

- The R175, R210 and S270 are SOLAS standard and hold a DNV MED Module B certificate (valid until 2027-09-15); the R210 and S270 are also listed as USCG-approved. SOLAS is optional for the V8P; where SOLAS certification is required, please confirm case by case.
- -30°C cold-start test records apply to the R210 and S270 only.
- The S270 is currently unavailable from the manufacturer.
