Based on the Duramax 6.6 L V8 and marinized by BUKH in Denmark; according to the manufacturer, it is a compact, lightweight engine with a box-like design.
Operating modes and custom ECU
Combat mode, dual mapping and custom ECU software are available as options.
DENSO common rail with pilot injection
DENSO HP4 high-pressure pump common rail system with pilot injection to reduce combustion noise; electrically controlled variable geometry turbocharger.
Instruments and communication
Engine data on a 3.5-inch display, J1939 and NMEA2000 CAN communication, and a laptop-based diagnostics tool.
Hybrid version
A V8P hybrid version is available with a 25 kW @ 96V electric motor.
