Sonihull Sonihull 06
A 6-output control unit with per-output monitoring and a fault relay output
Features
Features
Dry-side installation
Transducers are bonded with epoxy to the dry side of the hull, sea chests, coolers or pipework, with no through-hull penetrations.
Suitable materials
Suitable for materials that transmit ultrasound well, including FRP, GRP, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, titanium and rigid plastics; professional installation is recommended for FRP/GRP sandwich construction; not suitable for wooden hulls.
Monitoring and fault output
Run timer for healthy operating hours; monitoring of the 6 transducer outputs can be disabled individually (transducer output is unaffected); a fault relay output (24 V DC, 400 mA) supports remote monitoring and also signals a fault when power is lost.
Low DC voltage warning
The power LED flickers when the DC supply is between 11.9 and 12.4 V; on battery-powered installations this indicates poor battery condition.
Maintenance
Under the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, the crew carries out weekly and monthly checks and renews the transducer gel every 6 months; a manufacturer service engineer services the system every 5 years or at dry-docking.

Notes
- The number of transducers is configured after assessing vessel type, structure and areas to be protected.
- Power consumption is measured during operation at 230 V AC.
- The AC voltage selector must be set manually to 110 V or 230 V; check the switch position before installation.
- The system prevents biofouling; it cannot remove established hard fouling, so surfaces must be cleaned before installation.
Equipment selection, installation guidance and sea trials, scheduled maintenance and repair, and genuine parts. For parts enquiries, please provide the brand, model, serial number and vessel name. Warranty follows the manufacturer's terms and is decided case by case.
