Fitted with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) aftertreatment system and listed by the manufacturer as IMO III; the 1800 rpm rating is also listed as EPA 4 (COM).
Individual cylinder heads
According to the manufacturer, individual cylinder heads allow quick servicing and minimal downtime.
Fuel system safety
Double-wall fuel injection pipes with leak detection; duplex fuel filters can be changed while the engine is running.
No derating at class temperatures
According to the manufacturer, ratings comply with the classification societies' maximum temperature definition (45°C ambient, 32°C raw water) without power derating.

- Auxiliary engine output is given in kW; values before and after the slash are for 1500/1800 rpm.
- PRP (prime power) as defined by the manufacturer: unlimited running hours, no more than 500 hours per year at full load, load variation up to 75% of rated power, and 10% overload available for 1 hour in every 12 hours.
- An IMO II version without the aftertreatment system is also available (see 12M26.3).
